Indianapolis, IN – Dec. 17, 2013 – The Circle of Sisterhood Foundation (CofS) announced today the appointment of Ginny Carroll as its part-time executive director effective Jan. 1, 2014. Carroll will be responsible for overall leadership and management of CofS, including strategic planning, fundraising, and outreach. The Foundation’s scope of work has increased significantly over its first three years and the organization has reached a point where the hiring of staff is critical to continued success.

“This is an exciting time in the evolution of the Circle of Sisterhood and I am humbled by the honor of becoming the executive director. We’ve accomplished so much good in our first three years thanks to the support of sorority women and their friends and families across the United States. I am extremely proud of the entire sorority community and look forward to advancing this important work,” said Carroll.

The CofS board of trustees unanimously voted to have Carroll take on the part-time role within the Foundation. “Hiring an executive director will allow the Circle of Sisterhood to build upon the success we have experienced in the last three years. Our executive director will work to shape and scale our Foundation for growth and the trustees are confident that we will further our mission and have even more of an impact,” stated board of trustees member Christi Flynn.

Carroll has spent more than 25 years in management and consulting, 15 of those working for her national sorority in a number of roles, including executive director. In her 12 years as a consultant, Carroll has worked primarily in the nonprofit sector. She has also volunteered her time serving on the boards of several non-profits.

Carroll will maintain her consulting role with her company inGiNuity while serving as the Foundation’s part-time executive director.
